Ami Au-Yeung
With a Master’s in Human Resources Management, an executive certificate in conflict management and a coaching certificate, Ami’s extensive organizational development experience helps people navigate their workplace landscapes. Her deep listening skills and direct coach approach are sought out by those who aspire to grow their careers. Ami has held various impactful roles, ranging from leading global leadership strategies and programs to serving as a business professor. Her expertise extends to spearheading enterprise-wide change and talent programs, functioning as an HR Business Partner, and currently excelling as a global executive coach and facilitator. She coaches diverse leaders across North America and Europe spanning operations, engineering, finance, sales, technology, and HR. Some of Ami’s industry experience includes RBC, PwC, Loblaw, Ontario Power Generation, NARS Cosmetics, The Adecco Group, PVH, UPS, Netflix, Spotify and Microsoft.

Peter Baker

Peter Baker has extensive experience in education as a secondary school teacher and administrator in the Toronto area and this was followed by his work in government with the Ontario Ministry of Education. As a supervisory officer, he worked with school board personnel in the province and was the director of the Ministry’s Governance Branch dealing with governance related issues. During his career in education he obtained his doctorate degree from the University of Toronto. Peter’s continual involvement with the Stitt Feld Handy Group has provided him with practical experience in the area of dispute resolution. He also gained international experience in this field in Australia, Trinidad and Barbados. Believing in the need for continuing professional growth, Peter chaired the Upper Canada Dispute Resolution Association providing leadership to that organization for five years. He also designs and presents information about dispute resolution in diverse settings, particularly in interactions between communities and local government.

Lynn Catzman   

Lynn Catzman is a coach and associate facilitator with the Stitt Feld Handy Group. She obtained her B.A. at the University of British Columbia, her B.Ed. at the University of Toronto, her M.A. at York University and has a background as a high school teacher and as owner of a computer school for children. Lynn has earned the Executive Certificate in Conflict Management from the Stitt Feld Handy Group and University of Windsor Faculty of Law.

As a Roster Mediator for the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program, Lynn mediates civil matters and conducts mediations through her private mediation practice. She is a Chartered Mediator (C. Med.) through the ADR Institute of Canada and is also a member on the panel of mediators for the ADR Institute of Ontario.

Sonja Christopherson   

Sonja Christopherson’s expertise is in human rights, conflict resolution, learning and change management. She implemented a rights based/interest based framework for her previous employer (Arcelor Mittal) and established a team of ‘resident experts” to conduct both formal and informal dispute resolution. Sonja went on to bring her expertise to the University of Guelph, where she worked as a Human Rights Advisor until accepting a managerial role with Homewood Health in 2018. As a role model and coach for the ADR framework, Sonja promotes mediation and open communication as an effective means to resolve conflict. She earned her B.A. from McMaster University, her Masters in Leadership from the University of Guelph, and has her certification in Prosci Change Management, a highly sought out model for organizational change. She was a part-time faculty member at Mohawk College for twenty years, has her certification in the FEEL approach (coaching using the horse/human connection) and is currently teaching part-time at the University of Guelph. She is passionate about using a grounded approach in her teaching and conflict resolution, evidenced when she received an award of excellence initiated by her students.

Thomas Fitzpatrick  

Thomas Fitzpatrick was the Coordinator of the Employee Learning Centre, for National Headquarters at Correctional Services Canada for 33 years. He provided training and advice to Senior Managers, Union Representatives and employees to support understanding of dealing with difficult conversations and conflict situations. He also worked as an Alternative Dispute Resolution Advisor for the Ontario Region of the Canada Revenue Agency, where he coached conflict resolution and mediation, was a member of the Internal Mediator Network, and provided training seminars for the organization. Thomas has delivered over 400 Interest Based Negotiation seminars to help promote Alternate Dispute Resolution in the workplace. His education includes a certificate from York University in Facilitation-Process, Techniques and Logistics as well as Facilitation-Process Management and Intervention. Thomas has completed both the ADR and Advanced ADR Workshops from Stitt Feld Handy Group and has been coaching with Stitt Feld Handy Group for over 14 years.

Jack Harmer   

Jack Harmer has over three decades of learning and experience in government and non-government human services organizations and Ministries as a director, administrator, senior manager, social planner and community development staff. Jack managed and negotiated transfer payment funding (up to $300 million annually), new program and program change relationships with hundreds of community organizations in Ontario and Alberta. He managed staffed operations with up to 1200 employees in unionized environments. Jack has a B.A. as well as Master of Social Work. He served as elected counsellor on a small town municipal council and on the Board of Governors – Canadian Council for Social Development. Jack has chaired and served on a number of committees and task forces involved with in-organization and inter organizational change, restructuring, integration and downsizing in government and the voluntary sectors. In addition to his training with Stitt Feld Handy Group, Jack has also completed the Comprehensive Interpersonal Mediation Training Program of St. Stephen’s Community House (Toronto) Conflict Resolution Service.

Dr. Robyn Jacobson   

Dr. Robyn Jacobson (B. Com, LLB, LLM, PhD, C. Med) is a Mediator, Facilitator, and Conflict Management Consultant. Her first degrees were awarded in South Africa and her PhD is from York University.  She also holds the designation of C.Med (Certified Mediator). Robyn’s background is in law, university teaching and administration, and conflict management. She lectured in law for over 10 years, and has held the following senior University positions: Professor, Academic Registrar, Director of the Law School, Director of Academic Integrity. Robyn loves teaching and continues to teach a university course in Mediation at UOIT. Robyn started Managing Conflict in Education to conduct mediations and facilitations and to offer training and coaching in conflict management in the education sector. She also focuses on workplace and community disputes, emphasizing restorative processes. She has published papers, presented seminars, and chaired many conferences. She co-authored a book published by LexisNexis: Managing Conflict in Schools: A Practical Guide. Robyn’s doctoral research focused on the management of conflict on university campuses. Robyn serves on the Board of Governors of Trent University.

Barry Lubek    

Barry Lubek is a mediator, facilitator and arbitrator. He is a Senior Policy Advisor with the Ontario Ministry of Labour, and a professor in the Faculties of Medicine (Ophthalmology) and Pharmacy at the University of Toronto. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1975, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of Ottawa in 1979 and 1982 respectively. He is currently a candidate for the LL.M. (ADR) at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. Barry is on the Toronto Roster of Mediators for the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program, and privately provides a variety of conflict resolution services, including mediation, investigation, adjudication, coaching, training, and systems design.

Errol Baldeo

Errol Baldeo has been coaching with Stitt Feld Handy for over fifteen years in Trinidad and Toronto. He has conducted a number of mediation sessions in the workplace and non-governmental organizations and has held a number of senior management positions in the oil industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the West Indies and an MBA from Warwick Business School (U.K.). He also holds the Executive Certificate in Conflict Management from the University of Windsor and is a graduate of Queen’s University Executive Leadership program. Errol is registered as a certified Mediator for civil matters with the Mediation Board of Trinidad and Tobago.

Gary James Bonczak 

Gary served as the President of the Faculty Union at Fleming College in Peterborough , as well as taught Psychology and Organizational Behaviour courses. He holds an Honours BA, Bachelor of Education and a Master of Arts in Education degree. During his role as Faculty Union President Gary was involved in negotiating many Memoranda of understanding with the College administration. He was also on a select panel of internal Mediators at the College. These mediators mediated disputes between Faculty, Support Staff & Administrators, as well as students. Since retiring from Fleming Gary has continued to work in the mediation/ dispute resolution field through his business (GB & Associates), which deals with workplace disputes.

Helena Briand

Helena Briand is a coach with Stitt Feld Handy Group since 2023.  Helena had over three decades of experience in law enforcement with the Toronto Police Service. As a supervisory Court Officer (special constable), Helena was the officer in charge of Prisoner Transportation and later a Court Location. Helena’s responsibilities included managing budgets, personnel, public safety and fostering relationships with various stakeholders. Helena credits the Toronto Police Service with continuing to develop her communication skills, workplace conflict and workplace resolution. However, it was the role as an elected Board of Director with the Toronto Police Association of almost 8,000 members that highlighted the need to ensure continued fair and equitable representation for all. Helena’s tenure as Director until 2021, provided her with further insight in navigating negotiations, mediation, grievances, workplace conflict and workplace resolution. Helena is a retired reserve Captain with the Canadian Armed Forces Cadet Instructor Cadre, and has been volunteering with 110 Black Hawk Squadron Royal Canadian Air Cadets for approximately nine years, currently holding the position as Squadron Sponsoring Committee Chair. Helena is a graduate of Stitt Feld Handy Group with a certificate from Windsor Law, Bachelor of Arts from University of Guelph in Justice Studies and Certificate in Police Foundations and Leadership from Humber College. It truly is an honour to coach with Stitt Feld Handy Group as a leading ADR firm.

Gabrielle Byrne

Gabrielle Byrne is a consultant and professional certified coach practitioner with over 25 years of experience across both corporate retail operations and non-profit organizations. She holds an Executive Certificate in Conflict Management from Stitt Feld Handy Group, and works with organizations to resolve workplace conflicts, enhance team dynamics, and support professional development. Gabrielle’s coaching philosophy centers on empowering clients to leverage their strengths, overcome obstacles, and build effective leadership capabilities, ultimately fostering a culture of collaboration and success. With an extensive background in senior human resources, Gabrielle has a deep understanding of employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance optimization. She mediates workplace issues and has served as a trusted senior human resources advisor for organizations across various sectors, navigating complex labour relations matters, including collective bargaining and disputes. Gabrielle has successfully co-mediated at the Ontario Labour Board and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, resolving complex conflicts with sensitivity and professionalism. In addition to her coaching expertise, Gabrielle is a skilled facilitator and trainer. She has developed and delivered training programs to organizations across Canada on a wide range of topics, including leadership, communication, and change management. Gabrielle is a trained organizational culture-shaping facilitator through Senn Delaney Leadership Consulting Group, and has completed Accelerated Strengths Training through the Humphrey Group, as well as the Train the Trainer program through Gallup. Gabrielle is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is also a certified professional health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, working with organizations and individuals on health and wellness strategies. She has recently been approved to take her board certification exam through the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC).

Mary E Cook

Mary Cook has over 40 years of experience as a senior level executive, mediator, adjudicator and community organizer. Mary is currently Principal of M.E. Cook and Associates, a mediation and workplace solutions firm. Her previous employment includes over nine years as CEO of the Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers (OHCOW); seven years as a Panel Member for the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Tribunal (including a cross-appointment to the Pay Equity Tribunal) and for seventeen years at the Toronto Public Libraries. Mary’s most recent contract was 8 years as Executive Director for the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. Mary brings particular expertise and experience in fund-raising initiatives, organizational reviews, strategic planning and implementation, board development sessions, government advocacy, and interim CEO/Executive Director services.

Tag Elkhazin

Tag has been a coach with Stitt Feld Handy Group, a division of ADR Chambers for 23 years. Tag trained and worked in Sudan, Sweden, South Sudan, Germany, United States of America, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Eritrea, Nigeria, Chad, Canada and the United Kingdom in Conflict and its Resolution, Peace Building, Water Resources, Human Resources, Implementation of Infra Structural and Energy Projects. He trained extensively in Strategic Studies, Peace Building and Alternative Dispute Resolution.  Tag is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada and the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) London UK. Between 1995 and 2023, he implemented consulting contracts in and related to Africa for World Food Program, UNICEF, Save the Children Fund UK, Canadian Senate, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, and for the Government of South Sudan. Tag has written several articles and assessments on Conflict in South Sudan, and was retained by Sen. Lois Wilson, Canada’s first Peace Envoy to Sudan as her personal advisor for two years. He is a retired Adjunct Professor at Carleton University, Institute of African Studies. 

Lynn Georgeff

Lynn Georgeff is a strategic people leader who has had the benefit of working in a number of provinces and with a myriad of diverse types of employers, including for profit, not for profit, crown corporation and municipal environments. Lynn is a human resources professional who has had the opportunity to work with a variety of unions and employee associations during her career, thus establishing a unique labour and employee relations approach coupled with a high regard for evaluative and facilitative mediation. She has had the benefit of applying ADR techniques during high level projects intended to bring about culture shifts within an organization or move parties to a place where they can initiate the change needed. At other times, her mediation efforts have assisted parties to undertake better communication and salvage relationships that might have otherwise been lost or resulted in further disruption within the workplace. Formal training is varied beyond Lynn’s CHRL (Certified Human Resources Leader) designation, however it is her training with Stitt Feld Handy in both ADR and Negotiations, coupled with her certification through the Queen’s University Industrial Relations Centre that align most with the work she undertakes now.

Brian Grant

Brian brings a litigation background to his work as a mediator and instructor. For over 25 years, he represented plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of property and casualty cases and other lawsuits, appearing in courts throughout the province. He was a Certified Specialist in civil litigation from 2014-2020. Throughout his professional life, Brian has been active in educating and instructing professionals and in 2020, he was the recipient of The Advocates’ Society Award for Excellence in Teaching. Now as a full-time mediator, Brian brings his balanced and varied experience to the table in each and every case. Carol Knight

Carol is a Senior Conflict Resolution Specialist of the Treasury Board Secretariat driving change and advancing Human Rights. For 30 years Carol has been an Ontario Public Servant (OPS) in the service of people and held progressive relational change positions including Senior Policy Advisor, Senior Program Analyst, Facilitator, Trainer, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Champion. Carol is an Alternative Dispute Resolution Specialist and Mediator and completed the Executive Certificate in Conflict Management, comprehensive trainings, and practices since 2000 to provide workplace conflict prevention, resolution and restoration supports to all Ministries across the OPS. She is a Heart Math Stress Resilience Certified Practitioner and Trainer. She partners in the commitment to improving and sustaining respectful conversations where every person is safe, valued, and supported! 

Jo Ellen Logan

Jo Ellen is president of Solutions For Work, a company specializing in resolving workplace conflicts through mediations, conflict coaching, and group facilitation. She works in healthcare organizations, not-for-profits, and government organizations as well as engineering-based organizations and manufacturing. Her focus is on helping people develop the skills and agreements they need to work together effectively and cooperatively. She has over twenty-five years’ experience in both the public and private sectors where she has held positions as Senior Organizational Effectiveness Consultant, Manager of Workplace Planning,  and Director of Education. Jo Ellen has facilitated conflict resolution between individuals, whole work units, leadership teams, and boards of directors. She has coached people at all levels in organizations, and designed and led over 25 different training programs. She has a Masters in Adult Education and has completed the course work for a Doctorate in Adult Education at the University of Toronto.

Starr Olsen   

Starr Olsen is an experienced mediator, arbitrator and negotiator. She works with organizations and individuals to find the most effective solution to conflicts. Starr believes that mediation allows all parties to participate in a solution that can provide a durable resolution to difficult problems. She is a skilled negotiator having successfully resolved numerous collective agreements between unionized staff and management. Starr has also worked as an arbitrator for non-profit agencies in dismissal situations, conducted mediations for regulatory boards, non-profit organizations, health care boards, multi-party, multi-level disputes between land owners, special interest groups, municipalities and government, and has provided services in family mediations and in succession planning. Over the past 15 years Starr has designed dispute resolution systems in unionized and non-unionized environments. She conducts workshops and presentations related to mediation and negotiation. Starr completed her LLM with an ADR specialty at Osgoode Hall Law School; she completed the Advanced ADR Workshop through the Stitt Feld Handy Group and University of Windsor Faculty of Law, and her arbitration training with the ADR Institute of Ontario. She is also trained in family law and holds an M.A. in Adult Education, as well as having completed her Ph.D. studies in organizational leadership. She is a member of the ADR Institute of Ontario.

Joan O’Roark     

Joan O’Roark has an extensive background in the field of education as teacher, consultant, lecturer and administrator. As a professional, her long standing interest in conflict resolution has resulted in the introduction and expansion of mediation programs for students and the utilization of techniques for solving disputes involving students, staff, parents and situations within communities. She holds a bachelor degree in psychology from York University and a Masters degree in education from the University of Toronto. Having completed the ADR and Advanced ADR Workshops, she has expanded her current consulting work to include alternative dispute resolution practices.

Kim Parish

Kim Parish BA, LLM (Dispute Resolution), C.Med has been working within the field of dispute resolution for 15 years. Kim operates her own dispute resolution practice which provides mediation in the areas of civil mediation, workplace, education, contracts, and insurance. Kim also provides facilitations, mediation coaching, workplace assessments and workplace restorations.

Doug Porter   

Doug Porter has been actively involved in Alternate Dispute Resolution (mediation) since 1999. He has completed the ADR Workshop, Advanced ADR and Applied ADR Workshops offered by the Stitt Feld Handy Group and then began coaching for the workshops. In May of 2000, Doug completed Interpersonal Mediation Skills with St. Stephen’s House and then joined the roster at Scarborough Conflict Resolution Service, where he continues to mediate in conflicts such as neighbours, landlord and tenant, private information court and workplace disputes. Doug has been involved in training ADR skills for unions, corporations, church groups and community organizations across Canada.

Since receiving training in Restorative Justice in 2006, Doug has been a volunteer with Community Justice Alternatives of Durham region where he has been performing restorative justice mediations for youth and adults. He also mentors new mediators. Doug is on the roster of the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program, as well as SCRS and CJA. He is a member of the ADR Institute of Ontario and has earned his designation as Chartered Mediator (C. Med) from the ADR Institute of Canada.

Prior to his involvement with mediation Doug spent over 20 years as a representative of a national union, at the local, regional and national levels. He has completed Advocacy Skills Training levels 1 and 2 and has experience in contract negotiations and the arbitration process. He also spent 4 years on the board of directors of a condominium. Doug retired in 2005.

Alan Rosenberg   

Alan Rosenberg has been involved in dispute resolution in the condominium community since 1974. He focuses on client liaison, with an emphasis on helping both condominium directors and those in the management industry, to best deal with the many complex issues facing them in the condominium environment. His areas of experience include legislative consultation, financial analysis, creation of maintenance specifications, site operations, and the editing of newsletters and other communications materials. Alan is also the former Executive Director of the Condominium Dispute Resolution Centre and the past president of the Canadian Condominium Institute. Alan has completed the Stitt Feld Handy Group ADR and Advanced ADR Workshops.

Alison Rothwell

Experienced in mediations using an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed lens in relation to issues connected to human rights,sexualized and gender-based violence, disability discrimination, and workplace conflict. Additionally an experienced negotiator within management-labour relations.

Caroline Proulx

Caroline Proulx is a bilingual Senior Conflict Management Practitioner. Her proficiency to connect with clients and peers through her sense of humour, authenticity, and straightforwardness is unsurpassed. Combined with her extensive experience and training, Caroline has become a subject matter expert and a highly regarded peer of the governmentwide Informal Conflict Management System (ICMS). Throughout the 11 years of her current tenure, Caroline has accumulated a substantial amount of experience hours in coaching, facilitated discussion/mediation, group intervention and conflict prevention training sessions. Leading into a quarter-century career as a federal public servant, Caroline has gained a variety of work experiences in litigation, occupational health and safety, values and ethics, regulation and policy development. As a philomath, Caroline’s multifaceted training and certifications begins with being a lawyer and member of the Bar of Ontario. She has completed her degrees in civil law and common law (LL.L, LL.B) and is a certified mediator from the University de Sherbrooke / Institut de médiation et d’arbitrage duQuébec (IMAQ). She also obtained an Executive Certificate in Conflict Management with the Faculty of Law of the University of Windsor and Stitt Feld Handy, for which she continues to pay it forward by being a coach for the organization since 2011. In addition, she is certified by MHS (EQ-I 2.0 / EQ 360) in emotional intelligence as well as by the Trauma-Informed Practice Institute.

Justin Saldanha

Justin Saldanha has completed the Canadian Ship Master’s Certificate from the Canadian Department of Transport and served as an officer on board Merchant Marine ships in India, the Great Lakes and Caribbean. He has completed the Distance Learning Course in Protection and Indemnity Insurance from the South Tyneside College, United Kingdom. Justin was a Senior Recovery and Subrogation Agent at a major insurance company in Toronto and also a consultant for an insurance adjusting firm, specializing in marine and transportation on subrogation and recoveries. Justin has completed the Dealing with Difficult People, ADR, Advanced ADR, and Applied ADR Workshops and the Executive Certificate in Conflict Management from the Stitt Feld Handy Group and the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. He has been a coach with the Stitt Feld Handy Group Since 2008. Justin was a volunteer Mediator and on the Roster of St. Stephens Conflict Mediation Services of Downsview. While at St. Stephens he completed the Restorative Justice program. He was also a judge at the Rotman’s School of Business, Negotiation Challenge. He volunteers at Lumacare, a non-profit organization which serves seniors in the North Toronto area and is a member of the Board of Directors.

Anu Shankar

Anu Shankar is a Toronto-based coach, facilitator, and HR professional with over a decade of experience and a strong focus on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). She trains participants across sectors in conflict management, negotiation strategies, and mediation techniques, drawing on both her formal ADR training and extensive real-world experience managing complex workplace dynamics.

As an HR Business Partner in the municipal sector, Anu coaches leaders on a daily basis, helping them navigate difficult conversations, resolve disputes, and lead with empathy and confidence. Her background as a seasoned HR Business Partner spans labour relations, employee relations, organizational development, and change management, including extensive experience working in complex unionized organizations. Anu has also negotiated collective agreements, bringing valuable expertise in labour negotiations to her work. She approaches her work with a trauma-informed lens, ensuring that her coaching and training are sensitive to the varied and often complex backgrounds of those she works with. Anu also has experience working with racialized and equity-seeking groups, navigating the unique challenges they face in various workplace settings.

Anu holds a BSc in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Toronto, an MBA in Human Resources, and the CHRL designation. She has worked across the private, non-profit, and public sectors, giving her a broad understanding of how different systems function.

A continuous learner and natural coach, Anu is passionate about creating safe, reflective learning spaces where participants can build skills, shift perspectives, and grow. Outside of her professional life, Anu is a foodie who enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and spending time with her kids.

Ryan Thompson

Ryan has spent the last 15 years working with individuals and organizations to improve their communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills. Ryan has worked with public and private sector clients in financial services, health care, mining, law, and manufacturing in North America, Europe and Asia. Clients include the BMO Financial Group, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Ipsen Biopharmaceutical, AstraZeneca, Correctional Services of Canada, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Work with these groups addresses the challenges faced in both internal and external negotiations. For example, in the financial services, the most difficult interactions often occur between different lines of business whose competing interests create tension amongst them (e.g., Risk Management, Audit, Legal, Capital Markets, Commercial Banking, etc.).

Before entering this field, Ryan spent several years as an Ecological Risk Analyst. This work primarily involved performing wildlife risk assessments for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency at two contaminated sites: Housatonic River, Massachusetts, and Calcasieu Estuary, Louisiana. His time in environmental consulting gave him hands-on experience in conflict management and negotiation in the areas of project management, research and design, and

public-stakeholder involvement. From this perspective, he brings insights from working with private and public sector clients and stakeholders, and solving complex problems that demand innovative and multidisciplinary thinking.

Ryan has a Master’s Degree in Conflict Studies from St. Paul University in Ottawa (Canada) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario (Canada) in Environment and Resources Management. Studies for his Master’s degree included labour and management relations and the influence that gender, culture and the environment have on the negotiation process.

Chantal Vallerand

Chantal is an Ottawa-based mediator and a negotiation and mediation coach. In addition to her mediation work, she has held senior management roles in the private, public, and NGO sectors, including both unionized and non-unionized environments. In these roles, she developed and implemented organizational strategic plans, which sparked a strong interest in alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
 
Chantal earned an Executive Certificate in Conflict Resolution from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law. She has also completed ADR, Advanced ADR, and Applied ADR Workshops conducted by the Stitt Feld Handy Group, along with Community Mediation Training through Community Conflict Resolution Ottawa (CCRO), where she is currently a volunteer mediator on their roster.
Earlier in her career, Chantal spent 15 years working for advertising agencies, leading strategic communications for various national and local organizations, and developing award-winning campaigns.
 
Fluently bilingual in French and English, Chantal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Laurentian University.

Sue Vandittelli   

Sue Vandittelli is President of AWR Inc. She is a Professional Coach, Chartered Mediator, Certified Ombudsman, Senior Consultant with Morneau Shepell, Mediation Coach for the Stitt Feld Handy Group and former Bell Canada Ombudsperson and Human Rights Consultant. Sue has over 30 years’ expertise working with organizations, communities and individuals as a successful mediator, ombudsman, professional coach and investigator. As President of AWR Inc. (Alternative Workplace Resolutions Inc.) she works with clients to develop transformative and sustainable solutions to professional relationships, challenges, conflicts, specializing in the area of discrimination and harassment; disability management; psychological & mental health; rebuilding & transforming professional relationships; OHSA Bill 168 & 132 and; business to business disputes in the franchise community. Sue is the Franchise Ombudsman for Canada and the United States working with franchisors and franchisees. Sue’s personal client group is committed to increasing their level of consciousness and successfully integrating their business and life.

Leslie Wyman   

Leslie Wyman has over 28 years of experience as a Professor and Coordinator at Algonquin College. She has dealt with various levels of conflict involving both students and staff. In addition to her faculty position, she was a team leader for the college Program Quality Review for 7 years. She facilitated many faculty, student and external stakeholder focus groups as part of the process. Leslie has been involved in various committees at the college and is currently the faculty representative of the Ombudsman Review Committee, Joint Health and Safety Committee, and sits as Past Chair of the College Academic Council. She is the Union Steward for the General Arts and Science department and has developed conflict resolution skills while participating in strikes, assisting with workload reviews, grievances, and arbitrations. Leslie has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, management skills training and is a graduate of the ADR, Advanced ADR and Applied ADR Workshops offered by the Stitt Feld Handy Group.

Suyin Yap      

Suyin Yap has a Masters of Project Management (S. P.) and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. She spent the first two decades of her career primarily managing Human Resource Development and Training projects for various businesses and governments in Canada and abroad. In later years she also provided team building, facilitation, organizational development and change management services. It was in this milieu, especially during the design and implementation phases that she found negotiation techniques and ADR mediation skills crucial for effective and timely execution. She is a graduate of both Stitt Feld Handy Group ADR and Advanced ADR Workshops and enjoys continually enriching her ADR knowledge base and building her ADR techniques. She conducts primarily private and community mediations and has special interest in mediations involving interpersonal, work and family relations.
