The difference is that this workshop is specifically designed to look at how to apply those frameworks to conflicts which arise in the education sector and participants will have opportunities to learn and interact with other people dealing with conflicts in education.

The workshop will begin with some generic role plays which have been designed to highlight certain key negotiation and conflict resolution techniques. As the workshop progresses, participants will have opportunities to practise these skills in education-specific contexts. Also, the debriefs for each of the exercises and role plays will examine how to apply the skills in the education context.
