Alysia Davies

Alysia Davies is an ADR Professional at ADR Chambers. She is an investigator with our Banking Ombuds Office (ADRBO) and a trainer in ADR for the Stitt Feld Handy Group.

Alysia has a J.D. from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Journalism (Hons) from Carleton University. She articled as a clerk for the Chief Justice of the Federal Court and was called to the Ontario bar in 2005.

Prior to her work in dispute resolution, Alysia practiced law in the public sector. She worked as a litigator with the Department of Justice in Ottawa, representing the Attorney General of Canada before the courts and in mediations and settlement discussions. As an analyst for the Library of Parliament, she assisted Members of Parliament, Senators, and the standing committees of the House of Commons with legal research. Most recently, she was a legislative research officer for the MPPs of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, and one of a team of counsel who assisted the legislature’s Standing Committee on Regulations and Private Bills.
